Welcome to The Arizona Conference of Soap and Candle Artisans - home of the Wild West SoapFest&trade
From the newly curious to the hobbyist to the small business owner, the Arizona Conference Group is for anyone interested in the art, the craft, the science, the business or the simple pleasure of creating bath, body and scent luxuries by hand!
About four times a year, we all get together for an informal Potluck BBQ, where we can chat, network, "show and tell" our latest projects, and even have garage sales and "Anything Goes" swaps. Come, kick back with us, and share your stories and discoveries! There is never a fee for the Potluck BBQ - just bring your favorite dish to share!
And then there are the Wild West SoapFests™! Every so often, we will schedule a day of learning. Someone among us will demonstrate a skill - last time, we learned how to make liquid soap! These are small, up-close-and-personal sessions, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and see the process from beginning to end. And these are also potluck-style, so you will never go away hungry - we sure do have some great cooks here! There is a small fee for the Wild West SoapFests™, to cover cost of materials, but everyone goes home with "party favors", and someone will win a door prize!
Everyone is welcome to join our merry group. We are centered in Arizona, and that is where the Wild West SoapFests™ and Potluck BBQ's are held, but you sure don't have to be an Arizona resident to join in the fun! If you can't make it to the conferences to join us in person, you can jump in on the conversation via our Yahoo Group..
